In U.S., 43% of Uninsured Unaware They Must Get Coverage

Seventy-five percent of Americans say they are familiar with the 2010 healthcare law, and 81% are aware of its requirement to carry health insurance or pay a fine. But, fewer uninsured Americans, 56%, are aware of that requirement.
